Rabbi Joseph Potasnik – is a rabbi and radio show host. He currently serves as the Executive Vice-President of the New York Board of Rabbis, the largest interdenominational body of its kind.

Rabbi Emeritus of Congregation Mount Sinai in Brooklyn Heights, he is co-host of Religion on the Line on WABC 770 AM. Rabbi Potasnik has served as Chaplain of the New York City Fire Department, the Fraternal Order of Police, and the New York Press Club, maintaining a high profile in public affairs in the City.

Rabbi Potasnik received a BA from Yeshiva College and an MS from the Bernard Revel Graduate School of Yeshiva University. He received rabbinic ordination from the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary at Yeshiva University in 1972, and a JD from Brooklyn Law School.
