Walking tour of Williamsburg and Lost Synagogues

Walk through Historic Williamsburg, Brooklyn, the Borough’s latest hot and trendy neighborhood. Historian and author Ellen Levitt, will provide a walking tour of the neighborhood with stops along the way at some lost synagogues. Highlights are Beth Israel; Bialystoker Bikur Cholim; Daughters of Zion; Israel Elioe Brethren of Yale; New Hebrew School of Brooklyn; Ohev Sholom (one of the oldest Brooklyn former synagogues); Ahawath Scholom Beth Aron; Tifereth Israel; Free Hebrew Burial Society for the Poor of Brooklyn; B’nai Jacob Joseph and others

Wear your best walking shoes and check the weather for appropriate dress.
