BJHI ART & CULTURE COMPETITION For Jewish Heritage Month

Brooklyn students Grades 9-12 can draw, paint, take photographs, make sculptures, prints or mixed media pieces that depict a Jewish life in Brooklyn. These pieces can be portraits or portray Jewish people engaging in an activity, from a holiday celebration to being at a synagogue, from cooking to playing sports, from talking to dancing to singing and so much more. We are keeping this theme very general so that your students can be as creative as possible. Prizes will be awarded!

Student Art Contest

Completed projects should be photographed (up to 3 photographs per piece) and uploaded to brooklynjewish.org/student-art-contest.  Students will need to fill out the online form with their name, school, grade, teacher and contact information when submitting their application. We look forward to participation from students throughout Brooklyn, and encourage your questions at artcontest@brooklynjewish.org

Any submitted artwork can be used by BJHI for promotional or other uses in connection with the Contest.
