They are among 5,200 rabbis and guests from over 80 countries in New York for the International Conference of Chabad-Lubavitch Emissaries, an annual event aimed at reviving Jewish awareness and practice around the world. This year’s conference carries an added significance as millions around the world mark twenty years since the passing of the Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, of blessed memory, the movements leader and considered the most influential rabbi of modern history.
