I was very glad to volunteer helping many Holocaust survivors referred by JCC of Greater Coney Island to the vaccination site in Abraham Lincoln HS. I met amazing people, like Leon Gosh (pictured with me after vaccination) who survived the horrors of Auschwitz concentration camp.
Everyone is doing their part to overcome this terrible COVID-19 pandemic. Thank you to all staffers from DOHMH, Test and Trace Corps and JCC volunteers who worked very hard yesterday.
We are all in this together!
